Fittings
The vast majority of the fittings on the model are resin castings. I make the master from various materials and use silicone rubber to make moulds.
SPG 49 radars are part of the Talos missile system. There three castings to the basic fitting.

there are a number of smaller parts scratch built for each unit, etched brass ladders and a service platform are added prior to painting.

 The detail work in these units is worth the effort, they are a prominent fitting. Castings ensure they are identical.

TALOS underway replenishment mast. I could not find any good pictures of these when I made them. I have rebuilt the top platform of these units since taking this picture after I finding better pictures at last.
